Moon Gardening

I am practising a style of gardening called Moon gardening. Today I need to plant some seeds into the vegetable garden while the moon is going from the a new moon to the first quarter. I am planting Radishs, Japanese Turnips, Oregano, Chives, Silverbeet, Rocket and I will also plant into tubs,a Blueberry and Elderberry I picked up last week from Bunnings. I have some seedlings, a yellow zucchini & some cucumbers and a Chilli plant to put in the new vegie bed in front of the chook shed too

It's 11 days of prolific growth for above ground crops today so come on gardeners get planting!!

  1. I have some zucchini and cucumber seeds in the draw, now sounds like the time to plant. To bad I planted the rocket about 4mths ago in a pot it didn’t survive.

  2. Im a huge fan of Radish, yum yum. Mine never quite worked out. But the heat here has been killing the garden and water restrictions dont help.
